That’s right ladies, it’s finally here!

New Era Detroit Building Young Kings twin program, “Building Young Queens” will be starting on Saturday February 10th & will continue for 6 consecutive Saturdays until reach March 17th. Our VIP inquiry slots have already been reserved so be sure to reserve your spot.

If you are a Young Queen ages 13-17 or if you know a Young Queen in this age range, you do not want to miss this opportunity! BYQ was designed to inspire & encourage our youth to get involved in taking responsibility for their own future. They are also taught what it takes to survive outside of the classroom- Demonstrating real life skills by experienced professionals & community leaders in the Metro Detroit area of similar background.

Topics range from Business Ownership/Mentoring from current Black Business owners to overcoming self doubt and improving self esteem. At the end of the course each Young Queen will be gifted with a #Litty graduation gift. Showing the ladies that despite your background or story, we are all one decision away from claiming our Queendom.

If you are interested in RSVP’n for our Mother Daughter interest meeting so that you can find out more about the program, contact us today at 313-466-4377 or e-mail BYQ@neweradetroit.org and someone will be in touch with you soon.

“If it ain’t about the youth, it ain’t about the truth.”

N.E.D. CashMobs are to bring awareness, money, accountability, and support to Black businesses…and our Black communities. We hold cash mobs every Sunday for Black businesses in the Metro Detroit area. This presents unknown Black businesses (relatively close) to the customers as an alternative to driving out of their communities and giving up that Black dollar.

To keep up with this week’s CashMob location, check the events page and follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
